We have a Data Protection team in charge of monitoring the activity of the platform very day.
It includes:
- new data keyed in (source, access)
- data edition (access, impact, communication)
- data deletion (origination)
- Access to platform in line with Terms & Policies.
Our Data Management committee consists in the company management and reviews at every release or on monthly basis the data monitoring protocol that includes:
increase of hosting capacity,
additional/change of data content,
additional / change of data source,
request, complain, issue from users or client
number of notification, email receive and sent to Admin,
number of tickets raise, closed through Freshdesk
type of response and mitigation
lesson learn and road map of additional development or change request consequence of learn.
Our Data Compliance Officer focuses on data flow, usage, access, management supervision, process stand point. The officer is responsible for educating the company and its employees on important compliance requirements, training staff involved in data processing.
We also have a team member in charge of the IT Data Protection. His role includes conducting regular security audits, monitoring performance and providing advice on the impact of data protection efforts. He works closely with the Data Compliance Officer and her feed-back to adjust, review and act on the platform to ensure that my-insurer is compliant
Both KPIs follow the PDPC recommendations:
• Ensure compliance of PDPA when developing and implementing policies and processes for handling personal data;
• Foster a data protection culture among employees and communicate personal data protection policies to stakeholders;
• Manage personal data protection related queries and complaints;
• Alert management to any risks that might arise with regard to personal data; and
• Liaise with the PDPC on data protection matters, if necessary.
